Great tutorial on how to start a blog!

In Uncategorized on September 6, 2012 at 5:38 pm

I’ve been running various blogs here on wordpress.COM because I didn’t want to pay someone to set up my own self hosted blog. But, I’ve recently started getting client request that required me to start blogs for them so I had to figure out how to do it myself. Luckily I stopped by YouTube and found this gem of a tutorial – Start a Blog:

I couldn’t believe how easy it really is to start a blog on your own! This video walks you right through the set up process, and I even had a couple questions which Dave answered right away. I’m now building blogs myself as part of my business, something I never thought I’d be doing! 🙂

So, if you’ve been stuck here on because you didn’t think you could start your own blog, give this tutorial a shot, it is worth it to have complete control of your own blog and it’s not difficult at all.

Just ordered a Red Sox coat for the dog :)

Fleece Red Sox Dog Coat

I love that the Red Sox logo is on the top of the coat like that

This shopping season I’ve been trying to be creative with my gifts so I’ve been spending time on sites like where you can find unique items.

This morning I stumbled on Shirl’s small dog clothes shop where she makes all kinds of dog clothes by hand. She had a variety of fleece coats which I love and to my surprise a Red Sox coat in Roxy’s size!

As soon as I saw the jacket I knew I had to have it! I’m probably going to save it for Dave’s birthday now since it is only a few weeks away — I’ll have Roxy come running out in it when he’s watching sports!! 🙂

Metaza 70 Clearance!

In Uncategorized on September 8, 2009 at 8:15 pm

As most of you know, in our shop we run pretty much every machine in the Metaza line by Roland. For doing work printing photos on metal, you can’t get a better system than what Roland provides in these little machines.

And, if you need one I have good news for you!

I just ordered a brand new Metaza MPX 70 for under $1400! To put that in perspective, I have two other Metaza 70’s and I paid over $2500 EACH for them a little less than 3yrs ago.

The specs on the MPX-70 are here, check them out, I think you’ll be surprised at what this machine can do. And note that my machines is NOT refurbished, or a return. Roland is simply discontinuing the Metaza 70 so their dealers are selling their stock cheap to get rid of it.

I can’t speak of any other Roland dealers, but I always use Able (linked above) and all purchases have been hassle free (so far!).

If you do grab one, let me know, I’ve been using them for years now and can save you some time figuring things out.

Do you leave your search history around?

You really shouldn’t, huge privacy risk. Check out Dan’s old guide on how to remove your search history from your computer. It is easy to do, but you need to know how.
