Great tutorial on how to start a blog!

I’ve been running various blogs here on wordpress.COM because I didn’t want to pay someone to set up my own self hosted blog. But, I’ve recently started getting client request that required me to start blogs for them so I had to figure out how to do it myself. Luckily I stopped by YouTube and found this gem of a tutorial – Start a Blog:

I couldn’t believe how easy it really is to start a blog on your own! This video walks you right through the set up process, and I even had a couple questions which Dave answered right away. I’m now building blogs myself as part of my business, something I never thought I’d be doing! 🙂

So, if you’ve been stuck here on WordPress.com because you didn’t think you could start your own blog, give this tutorial a shot, it is worth it to have complete control of your own blog and it’s not difficult at all.

Just ordered a Red Sox coat for the dog :)

This shopping season I’ve been trying to be creative with my gifts so I’ve been spending time on sites like Etsy.com where you can find unique items.

This morning I stumbled on Shirl’s small dog clothes shop where she makes all kinds of dog clothes by hand. She had a variety of fleece coats which I love and to my surprise a Red Sox coat in Roxy’s size!

As soon as I saw the jacket I knew I had to have it! I’m probably going to save it for Dave’s birthday now since it is only a few weeks away — I’ll have Roxy come running out in it when he’s watching sports!! 🙂
